ORD - Chicago

The flight into Chicago was relatively easy... No real issues except for extra screening at the airport :( I seem to get selected for the random stuff a lot.

The sun was shining, it was zero or just above and the windy city had no snow. Perfect for a few hours of running around..

Tallest building in North America below: used to be world's tallest, Sears tower, no renamed Willis tower:

From 102 stories, can you see Milwaukee ?

The raised trains make streets dark...

And Marilyn must feel the chill. It's zero celsius:

This is the Hancock tower:

Below is the Miracle Mile of shops, I bought an sd card/ipad adapter at the Apple store :)

Scary car park, I'd need valium:

It is 2:30 in the afternoon and the shadows are sooooo long....

I didn't do all that much I suppose in my few hours in Chicago, I covered some of its most famous attractions though; but it's definately not a place to add the favourite list. It just doesn't seem very interesting! LOL. Perhaps "Married With Children" got it right.

Chicagoland was worth a look, but I prefer New York.

Trip back to airport was quite smooth, United's own terminal at the airport was incredibly packed. We were nearly two hours late leaving... I am amazed one airline had some many planes going that night - all these bums flying through the air with all their crap and baggage.... Amazing!

The food was terrible on the flight, no airline ads with chefs offering good food in economy class :( however there was no one sat next to me :( and it was incredibly bumpy mid atlantic, but I was very, very, very numb....
